met a photographer / pre-natal woundings

Met at the drive-through Starbucks with Charles Letbetter, one of the photographers from OMP. He was very interesting (and had shoulder-length hair) but a little long-winded. (we were there for an hour and a half) Apparently he always meets the model before he shoots, to get to know her so that he can work with who she is, not just how she looks. He was very much the artiste, I think I'll enjoy working with him.

Why is it that photographers get so possessive? He hasn't even shot me yet and he was already wanting me to work with him exclusively. I got a hint of that and Ben said it was obvious to him. Anyway...

We also got Miss K a birthday present and card, and went to visit with them. Ben told them about his experience in counseling today (it was pretty profound -- he is so much more free and his love has lost that tinge of clinginess). Pre-natal woundings just don't go away on their own. It is easy to understand why so many people just shut their pain away and live on the surface; if you don't have the keys to dealing with it, that is pretty much all you can do.
