These are awesome goals to have!

belenen ══╣nascent╠══
thank you! I hope to grow through them and feel like I have reclaimed more of myself this year.

Whoah, this is “simpler”? This is a lot! Just mathematically, broken down into 12 months, that is a lot of requirements packed into each month, to reach your numbers.

Very likely you work better under this structure than with spontaneity. I hope you reach a satisfying portion of these goals, and also that you find time for relaxation.
belenen ══╣analytical╠══
haha, well the specifics part is juat ideas for how to reach the main goal. so if for instance I get to the end of the year and I haven't gone to any concerts or art festivals but I have still witnessed and written about art, I will consider myself having achieved my goal. That's the main difference from before, when I just set specific numerical goals without organizing them into categories of main goals.

Sweet!

Your list both excites and overwhelms me but I love it! Those are some amazing goals. I like how you have a lot of goals about connecting more with people. Are you more of an extrovert or an introvert? I think it's so easy to get disconnected from reality nowadays. I make list all the time, but I suck and keeping up with them for extended periods of time. I'm always on the lookout for new ways to organize myself and be more consistent. Do you keep up with your lists pretty well?
belenen ══╣vivacious╠══
thank you!

I consider myself equal parts introvert and extrovert, as I have a strong need for alone time but I also need one-on-one time, small group time, and large group time to feel fully nourished.

I do not tend to keep up with my lists very well but the daylio app is helping me a lot with that! I have little symbols for different goals and I set the app to remind me to choose my accomplishments twice a day, so I stay much more aware of what my goals are which helps me to actually do them.

That app sounds so cool! If I had a decent phone that could download ANYTHING (I"ve got an 8GB government freebie phone...it can't even update the factory apps without running out of space...it's useless as a smartphone) I would download that in a heartbeat!

Best of luck with all of these :) :)

You are an admirable and ambitious person and one to model one's own self after.

wow, thanks!!

I love your list of goals and happy that I made it :-) Whilst I love what we share here, sometimes I often hold back in sharing thoughts in public posts so I could email with you sometimes and share thoughts that I would be less likely to in my journal or as a comment in journals.
belenen ══╣ecstatic╠══
I would love that! my only hesitation is that I am so bad about responding in a timely manner and I worry I might make you feel ignored or something. but I would LOVE to read more of your thoughts and you are absolutely welcome to email me anytime *beams*
webgirluk ══╣╠══
That's alright about not replying too often. I am EXACTLY the same and can take anything from a day to months to respond to an email or message, even when I value a friendship a lot. Sometimes the more I value a friendship, the harder it can be to sit down and write. Anyway, which email address is best? I can use email then to share extra thoughts that probably wouldn't even make it into my own posts or as replies :-)

This is a wonderful list, and has actually inspired me to add a couple of numerical goals to mine, like short meditations x3 a week [one of these will be in a class] and try to visit one new park/walking in nature place per month. I'm really pleased to see poetry open mics and swimming there too! And to see my name in the long-distance connections section. I would love to strengthen our connection too!
