"I never give them hell, I just give them the truth and they think it's hell" -- GUESS! and no googling either!!!
"In any moment of decision the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing." -- Teddy Roosevelt
"Do what you can, with what you have, where you are." -- also Teddy Roosevelt, what an admirable man he was.
By the way, when they say "don't eat for at least three hours before you sleep" they don't know what they're talking about. It's not about when, it's about what. And eating puts your body in relax mode (I forget all the fancy terms), so it's actually a good way to send yourself to sleep. I find it well-nigh impossible to get up if I waited a long time after eating to sleep, because my body's running on empty. Just make sure your last meal is rich in protein with low fat and low carbs, because the excess calories from carbs could be converted to fat.
I adore the little bat "Bartok" from the animated movie "Anastasia."
Oh my gosh I have to go to this hotel. It's so sumptuously beautiful it makes me want to burst -- into tears or song, I don't know, probably flight. I love hotels anyway, even the little two-star ones. Something about all the travel that they symbolize. I am a nuevo-gypsy, after all.
I met an Egyptian today, born and blood. She was one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen. I don't know how old she was -- her wise spirit makes me think she was about 40, but her face and form could have passed for 20. And yes, her face reminded me very much of the famous bust of Nefertiti.
She complimented my hair, and as she was leaving she said she'd have to borrow me sometime for her portfolio -- she works as a skin care consultant or something like that. She said I have 'that porcelain doll look.' I was flattered -- I've never really thought of myself as having nice skin. I like it more and more. I've decided that if I can't have dark chocolate skin, then I'll just have alabaster skin. I'm an extremist.
