poll: what to post first? / dream (homechurch w/ mom and lil sis, 'Hercules' tree, strong winds)

so much to say! I'm feeling blocked, hopefully if I can decide which to post when, it will help. (eventually I will post it all, most likely) Please vote on which I should post FIRST (1 or 2 choices please, 3 if you must):

which do you want to see first? (choose 1 or 2, 3 at MOST)

photopost of me -- selfportraits in my amazing vividviolet & springgreen hat
photopost of me -- selfportraits in nature
photopost of me -- the rest of my Chiaroscuro selfportrait shoot (will be f-locked for nudity)
photopost of Ben being his awesome self outside (still have to get permission, so no promises :-\)
post about the 'draw a landscape' meme, have you comment the image of your drawing, and I comment back with my interpretations of what it says about you.
post about my feelings/beliefs about trees (w/ a few photos)
rant about penises (penii?)
post on my love of metaphor and communication
post of photos & quotes by my favorite (famous) ladies (Nea & Vee, I blame that time-consuming idea on you!)
post on my feelings about The L Word & Grey's Anatomy
none of the above -- go comment on my posts you lazy git!

also, last night I dreamed that I went to a home-church meeting (in the jeep, I drove) with my mom and lil sis, and after we got there I called my partner and invited him to come too (he drove over in Sylvia (our current car)). All the other people were old, grey-haired, wise, kind, and very openminded. (and they were all about feeding us, I remember potato salad in particular) I think I took my clothes off shortly after coming in. The house was very open, practically nothing but screened windows from the waist up (second time I've dreamed about a house like that). It was very sunny and fairly warm, with a cool breeze. After a little while I looked out the back of the house and saw a MASSIVE tree, with its lower branches gnarled and thicker than I am tall. I was awed, and one of the old men noticed and said, "oh, that's Hercules." I responded, "Hercules?" and he said yes and showed me a drawing of a warrior with horns. I looked at it and then up at the tree and saw that they were exactly the same shape. I was further awed and in love, and went outside to lay at its roots and stare up and take photos, even though by that time the wind was VERY strong, strong enough that you'd need to lean against it -- but still coming in gusts rather than steadily. My partner was a little worried that a branch might break and fall on me, but I was completely calm.

that is the third dream I've had of trees lately, the second that features a HUGE tree which I spend time at the roots of, and the second that involved my mom & lil sis and trees AND cars! *meditates* hmm, also the second in which I call someone.

---To dream that you are driving a car, denotes your ambition, your drive and your ability to navigate from one stage of your life to another. Consider how smooth or rough the car ride is. Whether you are driving the car or a passenger, is indicative of of your active role or passive role in your life. Overall, this dream symbol is an indication of your dependence and degree of control you have on your life.
---To see or drive up to a driveway in your dream, symbolizes an end to your journey. It also represents security and rest. Alternatively, it denotes your path toward achieving inner peace finding your spirituality.
---To see or use a cell phone in your dream, indicates that you are being receptive to new information. It also represents your mobility.
---To see windows in your dream, signifies bright hopes, vast possibilities and insight.
---To see lush green trees in your dream, symbolizes new hopes, growth and desires. It also implies strength and stability. You are concentrating on your own self-development and individuation.
---To see the trunk of a tree, signifies your inner sense of well being and personality. If the trunk is thick and large, then it denotes that you are a strong, rugged and durable person.
---To see an oak tree in your dream, symbolizes longevity, stability, strength, tolerance, wisdom, and prosperity.
---To see roots of the trees or plants in your dream, symbolizes the depths and core of your unconscious mind and soul. It represents your values and belief system. Alternatively, it denotes your family ties and bonds. You may be searching into your past. ((I think both, in this situation!))
---To see a falling tree in your dream, indicates that you are off balance and out of sync. You are off track and headed in the wrong direction. (my partner was worried about this but it didn't happen)
---To dream of blowing winds, symbolizes your life force, energy, and vigor. It reflects changes in your life. To dream of strong or gusty winds, represents turmoil and trouble for you. You are experiencing much stress in some waking situation. ((haha, no kidding!))

woah_the_kettle ══╣╠══
oh wow, its not just me who wants to hear you rant about dongs!

Boy am I relieved!!!!!

Also I'm curious about this landscape meme?

Bel Baby, I feel disconnected from you and that makes me very sad. I want to talk to you more. I know you're busy, but at some point I hope we can set aside some time to talk.
belenen ══╣garrulous╠══
hahaha! :D

aww, I'm sorry you feel disconnected. :-\ I have been strangely antisocial for the past week, but I'm trying to get past it. Do you have googletalk?
woah_the_kettle ══╣╠══
I don't have googletalk, but I was wondering if your aversion of AIM has to do with the ads or the way its set up? Because you can get an instant messenger client (I use gaim, it allows me to use several of my IM clients at once. I showed it to kmiotutsie and she seemed to like it) that will allow you to overstep those boundaries, and there are never ads, and you don't have to have AIM or whatever even downloaded to your computer.

I think I might be about to download googletalk, but I might have to buy a new harddrive, mine is totally small, and filled up atm.
belenen ══╣garrulous╠══
I've tried trillian and gaim, just didn't like them. *shrugs*

May I ask where does this interest about dreams come from??
belenen ══╣dreamy╠══
I've just always been interested... probably from when I was really little and heard the story of Joseph's dreams.

Because I feel like giving reasons...

I chose two because I thought the fewer I chose, the better.

I didn't choose any photo ones because though they are lovely to see (and probably show a fair bit about someone), I can learn a helluva lot more about someone from what they write. And that interests me more because it lasts more than momentary "aww, pictures!!". I love pictures, but I'm going to do my best to get you posting rants and the like before you get into a completely non-writy mood and then forget about them.

Greys anatomy and L-word? I know they are TV programmes, but I've absolutely no idea what they are about, so I wasn't sure how interesting that post would be to me (though it could be, if its kind of chains of thought set off by them...)

Trees... terrible I know but I don't always like reading about things where I don't have the same beliefs. Beliefs rather than opinions. I like reading them because I like knowing how people tick, but I don't like it when people's beliefs differ from mine. Which isn't to say that they shouldn't have them. Sigh. I'm sounding like a terrible person now. What I mean is that while I would be interested to read that, I have a vague feeling I might find it kind of discomforting. But maybe not. I do like trees, they are comforting things at times.

What else...

Photos and quotes. Well, to be honest, I like reading about peoples own selves in their journal, getting to know them. While quotes from your favourite ladies may show a fair bit about you, I prefer hearing about you from you, rather than a reflection of you through them.

And I think the last one, the landscape meme. On reflection, that could well be quite interesting. But I'm not sure I'd actually get round to doing it, so it'd have to be interesting reading about other people... and that would depend on how much it said about them, perhaps. Oh, it'd be interesting to see their landscapes too.

So all these posts will be interesting, but thats why I chose the ones I did!! Especially curious as to what exactly your rant about penises will contain. I like penises. They are fun like toys. And humourous looking (I have a theory about that, that breasts and male genetalia are both fascinating for the same reason... they are funny. And everyone loves people/things that make them laugh. I bet thats why they look like that). What they shouldn't be is a symbol of bloody power. And when I think of penises I think of Freud and his penis envy thing... oh the weirdness. Anyway, I will leave ranting about penises up to you! My back is killing me (not connected to penises, merely to sitting in front of computer for hours)
belenen ══╣incitement╠══
you don't sound like a terrible person for that, not at all. I totally get what you mean about not really wanting to read about things that you just can't relate to! I feel the same way about some things.

On the metaphor and communication one, part of it was sparked by a conversation with you! so some of it may be familiar. I gotta fill it out and glitter it up a bit first :D
