86 days until I see Hannah again

I go tomorrow morning to get my passport. *eeeeek!* I find this very very scary, but "ultimately we know deeply that the other side of every fear is a freedom" -- Marilyn Ferguson. Somebody pinch me? am I really going on such a long journey alone? wow. Going so far away from my safety net is scary enough. Add in staying with Hannah and Nick, meeting Kate and Meliae... this is insanely thrilling and nerve-wracking. *shiver*

This risk-taking thing hasn't brought many external changes yet, but it has brought on a radical internal shift. Instead of seeing fears as walls to be accepted and ignored, I see them as doors, locked (to be picked open) or just stuck (to be broken down). I'm much more aware of my opportunities, more appreciative. I like this new evolution.

please send me calming energy if you can, I need to get up early and I'm worried that I won't be able to sleep for fear of missing the appointment *is insane*

Breathe.

Fears can also be wonderful nuggets of opportunity to self-acceptance and a greater sense of relationship with others, as well as furthering a relationship of divine order with the universe.

Just let them be. Allow them to sit with you and tell you their story. Given room, a chance to breathe, they will help you in understanding more about yourself, and in learning and realizing how boundless you really are.

As well as, perhaps, some guides or inspiration.

Fears are there to help us, dear Bel, not necessarily to hurt us unless we choose to ignore or resist them. They show us how to let ourselves grow, to see an ocean of despair as a water of creativity, of a forest as a single, loveable tree by which we can climb the rest of the way.

Breathe with your trees, dear Bel, breathe with them. Tell them your fears, whisper them your songs, your wings, your hopes and dreams. You are ok.

The future rests in your hands. Do with it what you will. Don't let the trip itself all overwhelm you. Think babysteps. Babysteps all the way. Breathe, bring something to comfort you, or many things. Things which help to relax you, and breathe.

Let the winds take you to who you most want to meet. Allow the attraction, that core in your veins, to bring you what you most want. What you believe that you deserve to have. You are bringing them as much to you as they are bringing you to them. This is the way of the world, it's always so.

And most of all, laugh! Let this be a journey of wonder and spell binding excitement.
