hate mail! Hate on me haters! yeah I'm a bigot.

"Sorry, but I had to remove you because otherwise I might say something unkind - you're just too politically extreme and kooky for me. Maybe if you stopped pushing your extreme agenda on the rest of the world and trying to force others to adhere to your views, you'd do better socializing in a society that doesn't, and never will, conform to your utopic delusions. For me, this is as bad as any other form of bigotry, and you have a chip on your shoulder the size of Texas for some reason. Get help."

Oh you might say something unkind, might you?

This got me thinking -- am I a bigot? If a bigot is a person who is utterly intolerant of any differing creed, belief, or opinion, yep, that's me. I'm intolerant of sexism. I'm intolerant of racism. I'm intolerant of ableism. I'm intolerant of cissexism, heterosexism, classism, ageism -- any paradigm that oppresses. Gotta problem? hate on, and I'll take it as a sign that I'm being effective in my rejection of oppression. Like I told this one, I hate to be tolerated. If you dislike me, cut me out of your life. I won't be offended; I'll appreciate your honesty.

Hell yes to all you said. I've been called "so judgmental" and I just say, "Yes, I am." I will absolutely judge people on their values. Anyway, props to you.

People that write stuff like that are... poor losers that don't have enough of an opinion, and somehow justify in their heads and heart that being outright nasty like that is somehow going to help you... I mean, I bet if you wrote that to them first you'd be the worst person in the world, but in their mind, they're allowed to send that mean stuff to you because they're faultless.

Stick to your beliefs; I've never seen anything extreme about your posts... far out, social media really brings out the worst in people!! This is the worst I've seen, and I've had some abuse hurled at me, but not quite so confrontational... usually I just get hissy-fits.

Does this intolerance cloud the truth of those who speak their hearts? Does what we know come from our own dissection of who we are, who we want to be, and how we get there? Not usually. Most people raised with the western concepts of being a person are not really aware they can, themselves, examine their own being in their roles and culture. The interactions I have with all ages at any level of meditation, buddhist, and chakra workshops are just waking up to realize their own potential in choice. It's not easy to uncover new ways of being, new thoughts to give birth to action. Gentle.

Opening our hearts, speaking our learned and accepted truths, being brave with being vulnerable help grow compassion and love. This will create harmony, and dissolve what need not be.

Haha... I'm increasingly heterophobic, but I think I wear it well ^_^
