LJ stats

I looked at my stats today and liked the repeated numbers. Look at all the threes! also, my comments-received finally outstripped my comments-posted. *sigh* I liked having it ahead!

Re: Stats
Thanks for asking...the short answer is, pretty much...the long answer is:

Way back in the day when I was first on LJ, I had a larger f-list and belonged to several pretty active groups that I commented on. I had one journal before my current one, I transferred over the entries when I created this account. Before the current account and probably until around 2006 I had probably a medium amount of LJ "friends."

I had a hiatus for several years and then I would come back for a while and disappear again around the time that my marriage was falling apart and I was in the process of attempting to separate from him and then when I got divorced.

At the same time, there was a general trend away from LJ to other blogging platforms. People started deleting their accounts and I made a huge number of posts private. I think when both of those things occurred, I lost quite a few comments (both given and received).

I've never been overly active on here, I'm not good with socializing (online or off), but it's something I am slowly working on...that's part of the reason I came back to LJ and have been working on using it regularly. I'll never have a huge number of followers on my account, but I enjoy reading the journals I am subscribed to. Each gives me interesting perspectives and lots of things to think about.

I hope in my rambling I've answered your question, if not please feel free to ask me more. :-)
